We are proud to publish a selection of recent photographs by 110 young photographers ages 9–20 years old from across the United States. From poignant portraits to thoughtful abstractions, this book shows us our daily lives through the eyes of our future.

To honor and encourage young photographers in their continuing work with the medium, the book also includes quotes and images by five master photographers, all Lucie Award winners among other international accolades—Annie Leibovitz, Duane Michals, Graham Nash, Sylvia Plachy, and Eli Reed.

The six organizations selected for this inaugural project of the Lucie Witness initiative, a collaboration between Minor Matters and Lucie Foundation dedicated to fostering intergenerational conversations in photography, are some of the longest-running youth photography programs in the United States.
